Vintage Russian Belalaika

I play fiddle and mandolin so when I got a chance to buy this russian belalaika this w/e I jumped on it.

I did a you tube search and am amazed what you can get out of three strings!

I was going to turn it but now I am a bit intrigued. May have to learn a tune or two to amaze my friends.
The little instument is in pretty nice shape but has a hairline crack in the top which I will need to repair.
