This Poppy pattern is distinctive for a thick coat of fired-on enamel. the flowers are White "o"s or 6-petaled with the leaves in black. Dagobert Peche is most closely associated with this pattern but it has been seen on Bolek and Powolny shapes. It was Produced in the 20's-30's in Czechoslovakia on mostly Loetz tango blanks (a blank is a glass piece produced by one company and sold to another company for decorating). This is a rare pattern so if anyone has these types please send me a link to a pic or email: Jerichohair@yahoo.com
thanx in advance for this Helgoland piece,...Who owns it? its a great find because it suggests these pieces were decorated locally for tourism, there is another pattern coming up with a Helgaland stamp as well
thanx, but as usual only one i own is the orange one. the others belong to collectors in the community. i share my images gladly because i consider them a collectable by their own right (a beautiful bit of code)
I like these, wonderful!
