My hubby purchased this vase/bowl? from a man who purchases the remainder of estate sale items and re-sells them. The original price tag on the item was 125.00 and stated on the other side that it was "turn of the century-Victorian blown glass". There is a pontil mark on the bottom but I am not sure if the picture shows it good enough for you.
He paid nowhere near the orig. asking price but I want to get an idea (if possible) of the maker, era, and possibly a value. Originally we purchased it for resale but now hubby has fallen in love with it (I have to admire from afar, I am THE bull in a china closet).
SIZE: 5 5/8 inches tall, 8 3/8 inches across handle to handle, 2 3/8 inches from top of handle to bottom, 6 1/8 inches across bowl, 19 3/8 inches around widest part of bowl bottom, 1 7/8 inches legs.
A big thank you to any and all who answer!!!
I can't help with the identification, but I think it's beautiful.
