I work at a scrap yard driving a Case Loader around wherever they need me. I try to scan for any treasures that might come in and I save a few but probably miss as many :-( Here is a 1 gal. curb pump from around 1929, think it's an Amco or Martin- Schwartz, Also a M&S Clock Face Panel and a Wayne Porcelain pump face plate in rough shape that I couldnt let go. These are all rough but worth saving. I also saved a 1910 weigh scale that would have sat on the counter at a store but my boss kept that. Oh well. Oh, also thats Libby, the stray cat we took in, she hangs around me while I mess with the rusty stuff. Enjoy
Beauty saves Ed!!!

I love anything metal especial the older and 'rusty-er', and I have just say you look to live in a magic spot....:-)
i often dream of working in a scrapyard or even a dump. i am sure that i would find so much great stuff that i'd need an enormous house and yard before my first month is over!
Me too ho2cultcha!..I have had great finds at dumps......:-)
Thanks inky and Longings for the love
Thanks inky and ho2cultcha for comments, if I wasn't so busy at work I could find more stuff but just to busy and not allways around at the drop off area before a Mag crane picks it up and its gone! :<(
That would drive me insane thinking of all that lovely 'stuff'... GONE!!!....so close... yet!!! so far...:-(
lucky devil!!!!!!
Thanks vetraio50, gargoylecollector and kerry10456, nice you love this
Ya gargoylecollector, I'm lucky but getting older and tired of working, can't wait to retire and go picking full time!
A job with bonus benefits, awesome finds.
Then you can just rest at the scales and keep an eye on what they bring in!!!!!!!!
Thanks Trey, egreeley1976 and chevy59, right Trey, but I do have to pay for this stuff but it still is a great deal!
gargoylecollector, I do rest at the scale, our lunch room is next to it!

I know this is a few years ago but do you have anymore information on this curb pump? I recently came into the possession of one and I'm just lookin for some more info about it, thanks
Hi loudfuel222, other than what I posted above 1929 M&S, it's listed as a private gas pump used at farms or private business like trucking co.
