I was wondering if someone could let me know some information on these 2 chests the cream color one is half the size? Also is the paint on it original? I paid $60 for the small and the large pink one was left in the house I bought. What would be good to use to get the pink paint off?

A couple of nice old dome top trunks. The first one is the oldest dating around 1880 to 1890 -- half size trunk called either a doll trunk or a child's trunk. Actually upon further inspection the second one seems to be about the same age -- give or take. The paint on the first is not original to the trunk. I have refinished painted trunks with some measure of success but it is a messy job. I use a chemical paint stripper -- called Circa 1890 -- but there are many similar brands. Use rubber gloves and scrapers and a lot of steel wool and newspapers. (There is one on my site but I do not have a before picture posted) I would personally think that both trunks would be worth the effort. There are many sites dedicated to refinishing projects that will walk you through the process. Good luck and thanks for the post!
