This is and old hand crank drill press that was owned by my great grandfather. It has no manufactures marks, but due to the iron work it is not home made. Would like to get more info about it.

Very cool item, Hmmm, seems to me their should be a markin on it somewere. use a magnafiying glass they could be small....numbers, letters, on the bottom, side.....Hmmm
Good day, I would like to know more about my Hand crack lancaster drill press.
I'm in the proses of cleaning it up and would like to paint it,: doe's it matter it i use some bright colors to enhance some of it's fetchures.
If you have a site of photos of some it would be helpful to restore it's as it was.

Refered to as "barn beam" drill...wonder if it was for that specific purpose...
Howdy ya"ll! , I have a question about an antique drill press. It has markings in cast iron, that say "CANEDY, OTTOM' FGCO Chicago Heights Ill. No. OO ? Could someone tell me what that means?
