I know absolutely very little about this piece, just that I fell for it and had to have it!
I would love to know more, as I'm sure one of the glass experts out there can help me out.
I'm most interested in the age, use, and any other info on this beautiful girl!
Thanks
Cheers!
Sorry! can't help but as you say I'm sure someone on here will be able to...I love the deep grape colour and the movement, it's lovely!...:-)

Thank-you justanovice and hedge!
Hi,
The above http://www.angelfire.com/rock3/sandgirl/index.html is my website. The dancing lady is by Josef Inwald a Czech glass maker around 1930's. If you look at me website you will see many things I collect, including the art deco glass, and my craftwork of Faberge style eggs. Let me know if I can help some more.
Thanks JayHow for the info. Cheers!!
Great, plum-colored glass - these are just wonderful! There are at least two sets of these - two piece and three piece set with different shapes of the bottom of this figurine and different bowls. Mine flower-frog shaped, and this is like glass stopper which enters the flower frog. Yours is from a three piece set like this,

and mine like this:

And in the end, that is not Walther & Sohne piece, this is Josef Inwald, find info here:
Josef Inwald, Edler von Waldtreu, Glasfabrikant (1837-1906)
