ok-i know some of the things have not been that great or hard! but this 1 has to be a good 1! not sure what its called-but its deff"-old! looks home made-i think its a shaver-or trimmer of wood! any body with some info on this item -i would love to hear it!! thank you--merry new year!
How long & How wide is it?
Looks like a saurkraut cutter missing the square box that slides along the rails. The one we use has three blades and a square wooden box.If you plan on using this for kraut cutting be very carefull in cuts fingers as well as cabbage. For you people who have never had homemade kraut, there is no comparison to the store bought. In homemade kraut no water is added, just salt and quite a bit of work.
Yup, I was thinkin this was a kitchen item too.....
KRAUTCUTTER. Yessirree this here is a krautcutter. Watch the fingers. It'll get ya.

Hadn't thought about using it for taters, but that is a good idea. This has been fun. I've not been to this site before, not really sure even how I got here. But if you have any more "unidentifiables," bring 'em on. Have a great new year everyone!
