    This was given to my Dad sometime in the 30"s. I guess it was used like we use gift cards today. His company gave it to him for Christmas

      I'm sure that someone collects these. I must say that the hat box looks to be in remarkable condition for its age! That will be a plus. I never knew that these were given away 'like Christmas cards'. Interesting!
