It's Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada so I thought I would post these two P C's.
    1910 & 1911
These have been kept in the family, passed to his sister, then my father, I'm the current holder.
So Happy Thanksgiving to anyone in my part of the world.

Thanksgiving Day in Canada has been a holiday on the second Monday of October since 1957.

I think it's kind of odd to have a live turkey on the dining room table, maybe he was early for dinner.

Thanksgiving Day in Canada is a holiday on the second Monday of October.

Our family is scattering in in all directions this year, so it will be just a small gathering today at our house.

Thanks for the love, mustang & Amber.

They are an omnivore, so will eat most things, but I don't think carrion is one of them.
Like a chicken they do pick on their own kind, at least the domesticated ones, not sure that wild turkeys do that.

I imagine the natives had many a laugh at the expense of the Pilgrims.

B'buss you can keep your bottom feeders, their was a time when servants negotiated a limit on the servings of lobster & crab that they would be forced to eat.

Happy Thanksgiving to all Canadian CW members.
Eat till you're stuffed like the turkey. :-)
