What I like so much on this kind of bead are the deep colors in this case predominantly deep bleu. As in the case of this vintage handmade millefiori glass bead necklace. The small intermediate beads in light blue and red are also made of glass. My other Millefiori glass bead necklace that I showed earlier on this site is predominantly deep red in color. I know, as you, of course, that this kind of beads are not rare but they are still unique and wonderful colored. This kind of bead are and remain beautiful pieces of craftsmanship !

I used to stare and stare at these types of beads as a child. Still do as an adult.
      Hope you are doing wellAgram!

Thanks AmberRose as always for your nice comment. Just have had holidays and visit the only jewelry museum in the world in Pforzheim, Germany. What I see there! I can only say, staring is un understatement. To be honest I needed a pack of tissues against the drool, as we say that (translated) in my home language.
I just ask the redaction of Collectors Weekly if they approve to write an article about my visit to this museum.

Thanks Kevin, good afternoon (my time). Nice you write the Editor too. And yes I have photographs, to be honest I bought a book with a lot of photographs of there collection and a have a quide from the museum with also a lot of photographs. But I think I have to ask the museum Director permission to publish. But I also think that they probably agree because it is only a positive article from their museum. Please let me know what you think about it?

Davyd286 thanks, I'll hope to get permission from the Senior Editor of Collectors
Weekly to write this article and also from Pforzheim Museum to publish some photograps od there wonderful jewels.

I plan to visit Pforzheim next month and look forward to visiting the museum. If you ever find yourself in need of assistance with translating your article in English, I'm sure many on this forum (myself included) would be thrilled to help.

      Hello davyd286,
What an incredibly friendly offer, for which I thank you. May I ask you whether you only visit Pforzheim or also other places/cities. If you come near me (289 miles from my home town) then I'm pleased to welcome you here. Of course, I'm very curious about your experiences with the Pforzheim Museum.
But as far as I am concerned, this museum is an El Dorado for a antique jewelry collector. Obviously, I do indeed not writing faultless English so maybe I appeal to you.
In any case, lots of fun in Germany and maybe goodbye, I should like to hear your experiences,

Thank you very much, Agram.m. I am making a special detour from my trip just to visit the museum. I'm sure I won't be disappointed!

Thanks davyd286 for your comment. I'm just curious to know whether my story about the Pforzheim Museum was of influence in your decision to make this trip or was this detour already longer in your planning?

I saw a string of these at an estate sale last weekend but they were priced what I thought was high. I intended to go back for half price last day but never made it...sniff.

AmberRose, look on eBay you will find another at a reasonable price! Succes!
For your information the necklace I show here I bought in my own country for USD 42.
