You would think after off loading a ton and a half of treasures, that I would stop hitting the thrifts...hahaha! I was right back in the saddle roaming the wild range of the thrift.
I seemed to find a lot of pretty girly items this week. The most interesting is this Tuppercraft pin caddy from 1952. You push on the chickens head, and the beak retracts so you could grab a pin (thank the gods I had my kiddos after this trend). I did a lot of reading about Tupperware after finding this forty five cent gem, and wow is it interesting. Highly recommend hitting the Wikipedia and reading about it. Carrot test...genius!
I also found a newer enamel which is so pretty/girly, a Stangl which I am desperately trying not to collect and an interesting and HEAVY angel.
Anyone recognize that angel? Help appreciated!
I have a couple more things to photograph and post...tired today as my brother in law got married yesterday. Did anyone notice hell freezing over??? I joke as I love...
