I actually am posting this for JayHow. He posted some very cool strawberries and hobnail pretties. Literally that day I found this beauty.
I was a little baffled because the thrift had these taped together, but the lid and the bottom each had a separate price. Mind you a small price...but still.

They also had this piece there:

I leaped at it, but it had a huge chip out of the base. Sniff...the thrift is a dangerous place.

Thanks to you all for the loves.
MiKKo, she is so pretty. I wish I had the space for a vanity, this would go right on it, full of powder and a giant puff
Yes I know it is for candy...repurposing

I only know a little. Opalecent, hobnail, guessing 40s. Westmoreland?
I think I saw this one in your picture too.
I am always up for an education, please feel free to go on and on. Love it!!

pretty sure this is a Fenton covered candy or bonbon. Some refer to opalescence on clear class as French Opalescent; I'm not sure what Fenton may have called it. If you add Fenton in the title maybe one of the Fenton folk here will chime in.

Just found this on eBay. Looks like TallCakes is correct, as per usual. : )

Hi, AmberRose! Is either the base or lid on this item hallmarked? I'm told that Anchor Hocking hallmarked their pieces, but one will find unmarked Fenton pieces. If there's no hallmark, this might well be Fenton. The second difference between AH's and F's piece is that the hobnails on the former are rounder and smoother, and in the latter more pointed and not as smooth.
