This beverage set has been in my late husband's family for many decades. I'm not sure who owned it originally but my mother-in-law had it when I met her in the 1960's. It is bright orange in color with a colorful parrot sitting on a perch on the pitcher and on each glass. There is a clear glass overlay on all pieces. The bright orange is on the inside of the clear glass. The parrot and other decorative painting is done on top of the clear glass. The bottom of each piece is marked "Czecho-Slovakia". There are no other makings that I can see. Glasses are 5 3/4" tall, the pitcher is 10".
I'm not sure how many glasses were included in the set originally but there are 5 now. I only photographed the 4 that are in mint condition. The pitcher is in mint condition as well. The fifth glass has a chip in the lip of the glass.
This set is very beautiful and colorful.
Can anyone help me identify the type of glass, its origin, and possibly the value? I am only guessing at the category I placed it in.
Thank you for any help you can provide.
Thank you - I appreciate the feedback and the quick response.
