I found this button while metal detecting in South Buffalo, NY in an area rich with History from Red Jacket and the Seneca Indians, looks like a crown at top, flower to right, maybe a person on left with only a right arm and plump body shape also with crossed sticks behind him and crossed (hockey, Golf, Oars) sticks in center, there is some symbols, appear to be another language around rim of button, no markings visible on back, would love to know something about it, I couldnt find anything on the world wide web :) Thanks
Thanks Rob, I looked all over for Gold King and couldnt find anything to match, have you seen this logo before? I'm dying to find out about it...
What area was it found might give a clue.

You don't show the back & that can often tell a lot. If it has a ring on it for sewing on a jacket, put a magnet to it. Clean the back carefully & see if it has markings showing who made it or whatever. Don't see how i can help you from the islands but just telling what to post so others can. Pics of the back will help them.

What a letdown. I was hoping for really old with a fascinating history.
Wouldnt that have been nice! We have been detecting just as a hobby for years now and we did find an old 1920's broach but thats the closest to "really old" weve come!
