My dad bought a box of these old cast iron toys and id like to find out the story behind them for him!!! He absolutely loves his little colllection but doesnt kniw anything more than they are cast irin.... thank you!
Sorry to tell you this, but they are Chineese reproductions,and yes they may still be 30 years old ,but are not worth much.A good way to spot fakes are by their rough casting ,their seams are not tight,and any welds or screws holding them together.Hope this helps.

If he loves the toy , dont ruin it for him by telling him they are repro's. I have a cabriolet and dent repro that look great and I still enjoy even though I know they are fake.
I ended I did tell him cause he was asking, but he still enjpyed.kust knowing about them! He still loves them and plans on giving them to my son who is his first grandson :)
