This comprehensive brochure was produced by The CNR to promote its services. It was prepared for the Fair of The Iron Horse, celebrated in conjunction with The B&O in The Fall of 1927 at Baltimore, MD.
Thank you all for your loves!
Not sure how I missed this one, love it!
Thanks, walksoftly. This is a great publication, and its developers are to be commended for coming up which such an informative and educational brochure!
Is there more pictures in it?
Yes, it is full of pictures and wonderful text. There are many technical pictures of the engines. And there are also detailed photos of the passenger cars....coaches, Pullmans, dining cars etc. Some of these had reading rooms, facilities for sending mail and telegrams, and other such amenities of the time.
There was also a photo and description of the dental car, which went to into Prairie regions, to places on the line where no Dentist was near.
A number of photos depicting the natural beauty of Canada was featured. And there were pictures of and locations noted of CN hotels which were across Canada.
Like I stated earlier, this was a most well done publication.....
