This is a very nice clock in my collection. It's a lovely little timepiece, having some beautiful inlay to the case and it seems to be in rather good condition. The date of this is I believe somewhere between 1890 to 1910. The clock movement itself runs perfectly, despite it being a bit slow. I acquired it from a curiosity shop, and for a great price too, since it did not need anything! As for the maker, it is unknown to date (I have the clock about 2 years) and the only clues to identify it, are on the dial. It says 8 day below the hands and Foreign at the bottom beneath the number 6. So from that I only know that it may be English. Help and questions are welcome, thanks!

The Dial and 8 Day Markers look similar to a "Smiths" 8 day from the 1960's. They were marked "Foreign" below the six and "8 Day" above the center like this one. I'll search out a link and post for you to compare.
