Could you tell me a little more about the lure? The lure likes to have the old hardware. If you can post a photo of the hardware, state if it has glass eye's and if it is plastic or wood. This will help on the year and value.
The Jitterbug is probably the most famous of the Fred Arbogast lures. The lure was patented on July 9, 1940. The production came a few years later.
The Jitterbug is to date the highest selling lures of all time. According to some estimates, the company shipped more then 2 1/2 million Jitterbugs a year.
