The Bessamatic M camera was manufactured by Voigtlander & Son for a short period in circa 1964. Designed as an inexpensive version of the Bessamatic camera. The main difference was that it did not contain a light meter. A light meter shoe was sold as an accessory. It was fitted with a color Lanther f2.8 50mm lens mounted in a Synchro-Compur shutter capable of providing speeds ranging from one second to 1/500 of a second. There were only 9300 manufactured.
