Since we seem to be on a modern, instead of vintage, kick here at CW tonight, I have a camera which I prize highly in my collection.
The Nikon DI was introduced on June 15,1999 and was the first professional, independent, mass produced, consumer DSLR, which separated it from the strong hold of the Kodak digital era monopoly. It featured a 2.7 mega pixel image sensor with 4.5 frames per second in continuous shooting mode. A real breakthrough in technology at the time and set examples to followers for years to come.
My camera is mint and fully functional with many original accessories. I have alot of fun shooting with it. The original kit lens with macro capability is very responsive along with the external flash which is the correct equipment for the body.
Thank you very much Bellin68.
