    This is a tomahawk that was fashioned from a farriers file (hoof care). The long handle I played with until it could be thrown fairly accurate. I love the scale pattern on it too. I'm was thinking about polishing it up and laquering it, but liked the flat finish better.

      When I 1st saw the wood rasp, I thought, hope he isn't using that to try & sharpen the blade! Just get the handle length right for your throw.

      I put the file in the pic to show exactly what the tomahawk head was made of. This particular file in the pic was handed down from a farmer family member.
