    This beautiful letter-opener is made from silver and ivory.I'ts absolutely romantic and speaks to poets a lot... But don't know where it comes from and who made it.Any help?

      Are there any hallmarks? Where did it come from? - country, I mean. How long is it, please? I'm not the best person to ask about this, since I sometimes have a hard time distinguishing between a letter opener and a page turner. : D

      You have a page turner here, probably European
      They used these because books were very valuable at the time, and they didn't want to get the pages dirty
