First pic (L. to R.): Air Medal (AM), Distinguished Flying Cross (DFC), Army Commendation Medal (ARCOM).
In picture the red medal is a Good Conduct Medal (GCM). It is only awarded to enlisted soldiers for each term of service (now every three years after initial enlistment).

The navigation computer he brought home with his flying suit from Vietnam when he retired I have this suit. Don't know what he did in Vietnam maybe fly Generals.
I wonder if anyone can find out the Distinguished Flying Cross writing about what he did? I was toll about flying over the mountins?
I don't know of any DFC database. It is significant award but there were a lot awarded.
There are a few sites with all MOH and DSC citations and SOME lower awards.
I'll check.
