This is a clock that I found on a flea market about 5 years ago. It's a Russian wall clock made by the company Philippe in the 1940's. I have not heard about it to date, but I know that they made rather rare and very nice clocks. There is a big reflexion on it, but the clock has a wooden case painted a very nice deep black. This is a timepiece, and it works nicely but would benefit from a service soon as even when wound with a key, it does stop sometimes...But that is easilly fixed, I think. A nice piece of USSR history here, so help welcome as I would like to know more about this. So, thanks!
