It looks like a sideboard.
I would date it to the 1920s- 1930s..

thank you what is a side board i got it from my exes grandmother that passed away i was told she use to put dishes in very heavy took 4 men to pick it up
I agree 1920's and it is likely not solid wood but a overlay on the finish a veneer which can break off . That was common during the era. Very nice heirloom .
A sideboard is an item of furniture traditionally used in the dining room for serving food, for displaying serving dishes such as silver, and for storage. It usually consists of a set of cabinets, or cupboards, and one or more drawers, all topped by a flat display surface for conveniently holding food, serving dishes, and even lighting devices. The overall height of the tops of most sideboards is approximately waist level.
The earliest versions of the sideboard familiar today made their appearance in the 18th century, but they gained most of their popularity during the 19th century as households became prosperous enough to dedicate a room solely to dining. Sideboards were made in a range of decorative styles and were frequently ornamented with costly veneers and inlays. In later years, sideboards have been placed in living rooms or other areas where household items might be displayed.
yep prob 20s tho possibly 10s as have dresser very similar in style marked 1917.
lovely piece
Incidentally, this style of furniture is known as "Depression-era" if you're ever searching for more. Despite the name, it was produced from the 1910s to the 1940s.
It's a very pretty one. I have my grandmothers which probably belonged to her mother who was born in the later 1800's. She always called it a buffet. People cal them both,..sideboard or buffet. I refinished mine it was solid oak. With the veneer's one has to be a little more careful but you can refinish it.
