    Can anyone tell me anything about this coin bank - I inherited it - appears to be cast iron - absolutely no markings on it - difficult to research

    any help would be appreciated

      I just picked up a similar one Friday night. It was sold as a cast iron coin bank, but had no retainer screw, and was held together by a rubber band. I wouldn't mind learning more myself.

      Thanks AR8Jason, I uploaded the pics - the retainer screw is extremely worn - it used to be a slot now it is just a wide shiny valley.

      I was interested in year of production and possibly the maker.

      I have no interest in selling -it's a family heirloom.

      good morning MattyG - Mine comes in four pieces - front, back and two sides all held together by screw
