Sterling Silver Case by starwood Elgin, IL
Watch is by American Waltham 1904
This is all I can find on this watch. I don't know if they are a collectors
type or if they are worth much but I'm looking for someone who's might be able to shed some light on those point's. I paid a certain amount which I won't disclose at this time until someone let's me know what they are valued at. I hope I did'nt get taken lol I hope the pics are good I can post more if needed.
The value of the watch is in this handsome silver hunter case. I think you have two pictures of its back cover as the front should have a blank spot in the center for initials. The movement appears to be a low-grade, 7-jewel and sadly not worth much. The case is exceptional.
Actually it's 17 Jewel and the case is engraved the same on both the front and back I understand it's in working condition. You say it's not work much lol , can you put a $amount on that. I know your not seeing it in person but i'd just like to get an idea of it's value....and thanks so much for responding....I actually have another pocket watch that I purchased the same day I'll post that one for you to have a look at
Can you take a clearer picture of the movement showing the serial number?
I can give you a "book" value if I could get a little more information.

Yes it is 7 jewels, I was about to correct that lol, i had it mixed up with another pocket watch ( that I will list later) that I acquired the same day. So it is engraved the on both side except one had a blank spot it the center where the othe has engraved . Anyways can anyone put a price on this for me, I'd like to know what it is worth .
If you can post a clear straight on picture of the movement showing the serial number, a clear picture of the dial and any hallmarks on the case we can give you more information.

If I am reading the serial number correctly (13645987) it is a size 6s. 7-jewel. model 1890 made c.1905. The value is in the sterling case as the movement is a low grade Seaside type, with little value. Great looking case !!!
Oops, the last number appears to be a "1" which dosen't change a thing.
