    I bought these busts from a picker a few months ago. i believe that they are Albert Schweitzer and Albert Einstein. They are signed 'SMIKESELL'. Can anyone help me w/ any info at all about them? they are beautifully made and i like them more and more all the time.

      thanks Bellin68. i sure hope i can find out something about them. they show a LOT of skill by the artist, which makes me really wonder why i can't find anything on him/her. ?????

      I know nadda, but the A. Einstein sounds right for the one, But the other looks like Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain) to me. Again I don't know, just saying.

      thanks kerry10456. i think you may be onto something. it does look a lot like twain - moreso than schweitzer. now, if only i could figure out who made the busts....

      do you think the other one is einstein?

      I'd bet on the Einstein, the nose and no upper lip moustache, yep that's him.

      Hi, all. What a delightful find! For what it's worth, when I saw the first bust I immediately thought "Mark Twain"!
