I have this cool looking vase I picked up at a yard sale and was hoping someone might help ID this piece for me. Looks to be hand blown glass and is about 13.5 in tall from tip to base. The base has a really cool ornate front piece that curls like an elephant nose.
Is that design what they call, Jack in the Pulpit?
Bellin, Inky & others where are you?
I don't normally pick up Vases and such , but for 5.00 it looked to unique. It's tough to see from my pictures but there is also gold color sparking. Material blown into the glass. I don't see any markings.
Yes . Definitely Jack in the Pulpit vase .

I may have found something that resembles this piece. I found on ebay a vase that's a pulpit with the almost same bottom stems. Made by Archimede Seguso Murano Glass Cornucopia Vase. Anyone no more about him?
Here I am..:)... yes! agree with the others and looks like a Murano to me, nice vase!....:-)
I would have bought it for $5 & sent it too blunderbuss... no who am I kidding I would have kept it.
