I have an old folder of bound "florentine design" 8 full color playing card posters, size 11x14.

I guess "Florentine Designs" means of the style of florentine paintings and as i hope you can see, they are reversible, top with clothes on, bottom with clothes off!

Do you kow anything about these types of playing card posters?

The cards are from a deck that was published in France by Philibert from Paris as "Le Florentin" in 1955. The deck was illustrated by Paul Emile Bécat (1885-1960). So the "florentine designs" here refer to the title of the deck. Best regards,

I also have a set of these 8 prints and was wondering when they were printed and by who. There are no markings anywhere except whats on the front cover. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks
