I inherited this vintage nickel slot machine from my Great Aunt, who's late husband acquired it sometime prior to the 1970's when they lived in Wyoming. It sits on the original wooden stand. Not sure of the age, or year it was built, or the manufacturer. It is all original paint and parts to my knowledge. We do not have a key to the slot machine, however it works fine, although occasionally "sticks" and you have to "whack" it to take the nickel! We enjoy a variety of antiques, and did not want to risk damage by having a locksmith come out, so are curious if a replacement key could be obtained.
It fits great in our family game room next to the pool table, and other than dusting it, we have no idea what type of care to give it.
Any information is appreciated. Thank you.
I would get a guy to come out and pop that lock out. Then put a new lock on it, won't hurt the value at all. It's worth the trouble and expense IMO. Beautiful slot!
Oh, I'm guessing this is a Jennings machine from the 1950s.
Sorry it's a MILLS!
Hello
Do you still have the Golden Nugget Slot machine?
Thx
