    Very unusual gwtw lamp with enamel decoration on cranberry glass. This is not opaque milk glass as most gwtw lamps are. Glass has a finish much like Handel's chipped ice. Only mark is J D Boyd &Co on flame spreader. Could this be Mt Washington or Mont Joy?

      yes it could be Mt Washington, Legras (mt joye) Harrach or Moser
      It's not a pattern I am readily familiar with. I know Mt Wash did a lot of violets.. but violets were a popular theme. the little scrolls all over the piece are more typical of the continent than america..

      I have a similar shade. It is not cranberry, but clear and I was told it was Mt Washington. I will try to upload pics of it.
