Possibly a reproduction. I've yet to find this particular pattern in my resources. I also couldn't find a maker's mark of any kind. Pale yellow in color. Bought at the thrift store for $1.91

this is the Madrid pattern originally by Federal Glass in the 1930s. The color is amber and this size and shape usually called a cake plate. The pattern was reproduced by Indiana Glass that was marked '76 on the edge within the scrolls, but I don't think this plate was reproduced.

Federal produced the pattern originally, from 1932 - 1939. Federal then re-issued the pattern in 1976 and marketed it as "Recollection" with the number '76 marked in the pattern. Indiana bought the molds in the 80's when Federal went bankrupt and they then began producing items in this pattern, also calling their pattern "Recollection". Indiana also added some items not originally made by Federal. The pieces produced by Indiana do not feature the '76 marking. All that being said, TallCakes is correct that this item was not reproduced....either by Federal or by Indiana. Approximate current value for your cake plate is $24. A very good investment in a very nice piece!
