Found this great OLD machine, and doing some research on it.
I thought I found a place that said it was an Industrial machine but can't find that information again now.

what I have found about it is
    serial
    K- 655514

    from the singer site.
    http://www.singerco.com/pdf/SINGER_K_nos.pdf

    31 MOdel Number/ Machine Class
    5400 Machines Made
    January 5 1903

Looking trying to find out if this model was industrial or leather or both.
This is still usable, I understand that this machine is strong enough to sew leather, does anyone know about that?

I see one on Ebay that is similar with the cabinet as well, and it is selling for around $600, and hasn't finished bidding yet. It was in working order as well, something is worth what someone is willing to pay for it I suppose.

Yes, that is a Singer 31, and was made for stitching lightweight leather, canvas, sacking, etc - the hard part will be getting needles for it. You might find a manual on the Singer website or the Smithsonian Collection.
