This is a very nice alarm clock made by Smiths, of England. It is a memory for all of us who woke up to the traditional Kellogg's cereal, "Rice Krispies", including my uncle, who had it until he moved away. My grandparents had it in their garage, then I took it, and have had it ever since. The clock has a later form of transistor movement that also works perfectly! A cool piece of Snap Crackle Pop history we have here. Thanks!
Hi! This clock is a lot more desirable than i realised. This year I had hit a brick wall on what to get my step dad for Christmas. He is a sentimental person so I wanted to get him something meaningful. I thought about a story he was telling me a few weeks back, about how when he was younger he had bought so many Rice Krispies box’s to save up enough coupons to finally buy a Rice Krispies alarm clock, he cherished this clock with everything. Until one day him and his father had an argument which resulted in the clock being broken! He would do anything to get that alarm clock back - so i thought, what a perfect Christmas present it would be if i could get my hands on one, unfortunately it’s a lot harder then i expected it to be. This is the exact clock. Would you be interested in me buying it off you?
My email is saffronmelody2@gmail.com if you would like to have a chat. Getting this clock means everything!!
