This is a bohemia glass made in czech republic that i bought at a store going out of business. It is 20 1/2 inches tall and at its thickest is 25 1/2 inches around. It is cobalt blue/gold with intricate flowers and art work. I would love some advice on how to clean it. Thanks.
Most of the pieces that I have with similar details I clean with lukewarm water and a very small amount of MILD soap. None of that super grease fighting stuff, dishwasher detergent or hard rubbing. I use either a VERY soft cloth or just my hand with my rings off. I always do a small area to make sure it's not something that's going to remove any paint/decoration. I would advise you not to use anything with ammonia either and to test a small area first. I also don't immerse things like this, just run the water over them and get them dry quickly without a lot of rubbing. But always, when in doubt, just dust it and leave it alone. It is beautiful!! :-)

You're very welcome, robinhood. It is a truly LOVELY piece. And for what it's worth, whenever I'm working with something like this, I fold a towel and put in the sink JUST in case I drop it. I've saved several pieces by doing that.
