Rosewood Dining Armrest Chair; Right?

Does anyone know the history behind these Tall Man Chairs? They are very big. I have four of them, and would love 6to know their history.
I have searched the web and have not been able to find anything like them. Can you help me?
The measurement are 25" wide; 33" tall; 19"seat depth.
And the wall to front of chair is 25"
