    Hi,

Got this at a flea market this weekend. I believe it is a 1970's reproduction victorian table lamp. I took it apart and polished the brass. I had not seen this lamp before. Anyone seen one or know of who made these?

I believe this was made by the John Scott Lamp Co. which would make you assessment of age correct.

Thank you JohannB. Your question prompted me to look at some of his lamps on the internet. One site stated the the burner knob would be stamped with his name. We didn't refurbish the burner. I just looked at it. It is stamped John Scott, Made in England.

Thanks for the great information. Sure appreciate it. I knew it was a repro when I bought it, so there is no problem. I usually buy the old ones. It is great to know who made it.
