This image is from 1904 and shows the interior of a Pennsylvania Barber shop.
There are some fantastic details:
- Early swivel chair with Oak sides
- Personalized shaving mugs displayed, each with its own brush (I never knew they did this-- must have been for sanitary reasons)
- Barber bottles displayed on the cabinet-- one looks to be vaseline another hob-nail (GREAT GLASS)
- Gas light fixtures on the ceiling and wall
