The first is an illustration by Gil Elvgren. If witches all looked like that, who wouldn't want to be bewitched?
Next is a turn of the last Century postcard (postmarked 1913) by Raphael Tuck. This card is done in high relief, adding to its beauty.
Is this what The Pumpkins and Apples do after we've all had our Halloween fun?
Finally, we have a simply designed, but very effective card from the S. Berman Co. of New York. This postcard is copyrighted 1913.
I love the work of Gil Elvgren, great post thanks for sharing!!
Yes Bellin, I am enthralled by the witch, too!
And walksoftly, we share a love of Gil Elvgren's work. Glad to share this with members of Collectors' Weekly.
And thank you all for loving this submission.....
I love the middle one!
Thanks, PostCardCollector...it is one of my favorites, too!
