After the death of my grandmother in 1979 went this ring to her daughter, my mother. After her death in 1996 I inherited this white gold ring with brilliants. This ring hallmarked 585 which is 14 k White Gold (normal gold hallmark in my country) and I wear it very much. Not only as a reminder of my grandmother and mother but also because simply I like it. In addition, reminds me this ring to the fact that I encountered on my Granny what concerns my love for jewelry because she was also fond of jewels.
I estimate this ring from the 1950s/60s. Do you have any idea of the period? The English name for this kind of rings I don't know (yet). Can you give me that?
Thanks BELLIN68
I love it! I think its called a 'toi et moi' ring, a 'you and me' ring in english. I posted my toi et moi ring a few days ago. The shape and age of my ring is different but the meaning is the same.
Hi Newtimes, thanks for your comment and help. I'v seen your ring and loved it already. Also an antique and beautiful jewel!
