Got pretty clean. 10K gold filled (GF). The crown was not correct and made it hard to wind, but not set the hands, which is why I thought the crown/stem were not correct. 18K hands and number markers!
I had a guy replace the stem and crown with new Hamilton (old stock) parts. Winds and sets easily now. Kept excellent time since I got it. I tried to open it (cld=sealed, or dust proof and moisture, NOT WATER) and it seems that the movement wouldn't come out of the 1 piece case even after I removed the crystal (the cld movements come out through the crystal. The screw on back didn't exist yet or wasn't patented through Hamilton's case making companies. This is why I had someone help. I didn't want to force it out!

So I guess this is actually a three piece case. Maybe a little prying action, next time, if there needs to be a next time this thing needs to be opened.
