    Two Red Wing pots...the first is being used to hold a cactus plant, the second usually hold umbrellas, hats, gloves, ec....These have been in my family for years.

      Wow great examples of Red Wing Stoneware crocks. The 2 gallon is a large wing and from the oval I can tell it dates from the early 1930's. The 5 gallon has a small wing and probbly marked Red Wing Potteries. This piece probly dates from the later part of the 30s or early part of 1940s. Red Wing ceased Stoneware procduction by 1945 and focused primarly on dinnerware and art pottery.       Thanks! I knew the ballpark ages based on the size of the wings. Being from MN I love Red Wing...my parents also have a Red Wing bird feeder.
