I think that the WW1 era photographic backdrops really add to the interest of the photograph.

This is a Real Photo PostCard (RPPC) of "Enid (???) and Friend". The two happy troopers are standing in front of a WW1 Aircraft backdrop.

    Back of RPPC is "PMC".

Hi, scott Can you please tell us more about the headgear that these two gentlemen are wearing? Dignified and jaunty, but doesn't look as if it would provide much protection. I haven't seen this cover before. It reminds me of Canadian Mounties. Thanks!

Oh, I think that these must be like the others, only the others didn't look to me so crisply creased near the crown, or pointed on top. Pardon my ignorance, please. Very fine photo!

No problem mikko. It is a standard campaign hat of the era.
