Hi, I am hoping someone can help me. The only information I have on this doll says "Antique Reproduction, all porcelain, 24", paid $175.00, made by someone in Tigard, OR." What kind of reproduction is she? German? Is she bisque? She is beautiful & very nicely dressed. Thanks for your help.

Hi your doll is a reproduction . She is newer and made by a doll ceramic class studio, just a regular person that took a doll making class . They supply the mold and help you with painting and firing , they sell you body, wig, eyes and you dress it . many people in 1980s and early 1990's wanted this antique dolls but price of true one was out of reach and they also enjoyed making their own as a hobby
I believe this is a reproduction of a Bru by her face and they were French dolls highly desired by doll collectors but price at that time would have been for a true Bru Jun doll would vary from 8000-10,000 dollars so you can see making one was a whole lot cheaper . The market for reproduction dolls like yours has fallen very low and I would say if you love her ,enjoy her and display her .
      Thanks for sharing her

That should read" Bru Jne" . But again it is not a real one but a reproduction from old mold of head .
