    Small pocket watch, says 8-day/8-days "The Comfort" Bought it off the 'bay' and don't have the history of it. Wondered who was the manufacturer of this nice pocket watch.

    Here is a photo of what the back with the 'ink stamped' info. should look like.

      Just posted a shot of the back, not much there. Looks like it may have had something printed on it, but has long faded away....

      "The only brand marking, other than "The Comfort" Is "Wyss Freres" on the intermediate plate, under the balance wheel, which I take to mean Wyss Brothers...."

      Manufacturers of watches in Geneva. From 1755 to 1784. The company then became Wyss Brothers & Menu. From 1787 to 1810. Fancy watches, pendant watches and small repetition. Revolutionary watch dial painted.
