These are pretty easy to find around here, being that I am currently about 400 miles from the canadian border. Some of these are from getting back Canadian change, and some of these are from when we have ventured north of the border. Pretty cool, eh? Eh?

I get those coins all the time being about forty miles from Victoria BC, Canada

Is there any substantial value to these coins or are they pretty common?

Theyre all pretty common. Not sure if they have changed the design or not, that changes things.I also have some canadian pennies from the 1940s and '50s. Those are relatively rare.

The design changes every year but the value remains the same. You'll find quarters that were made for each Province so they look different. Unless there is a defect on the pennies or other Canadian coins, they do not have much value. I have a collection from way back when I started as a teen ager. Some are even encased in plastic. None, not one of them has any value other then face value. You'll find them on eBay but there are not too many of them selling. I have Canadian silver dollars and complete sets in soilver and frosted silver from the 1970s. They are not even worth what I paid for them. It's too bad because they are nice to look at. I also have metal stamps in silver and bronze, also value less. But I enjoy looking at them and this is what counts.
