      Hi friends
      The type of machining approaches the "ROSTRATO" but in this case the glass is green and very heavy.
      I find this on Web : http://www.antiquehelper.com/item/353109
      Ercole Barovier "Mugnoni" ???

      I find what the red Label under the ashtray means . I add one more pictures . This is the original label from the shop in Milan ( Argenteria Bernasconi since 1872 still here in Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery ) in down Town Milano .

      Ciao Hornet and congratulations on your discovery! Sei felice, ... te lo meriti!
      I'd worked out it was in the Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery but had no idea about the shop. Really high end!
      Vetro bugnato!
      Ciotole a bugno!
      Now I realise what the guys in Czechoslovakia were copying!

      Thank you for the link to the Museo dei Bozzetti!
      Great exhibition!

      ma quella che non si conosce;
      non la vita passata,
      ma la futura.
      Coll'anno nuovo,
      il caso comincera' a trattar bene
      voi e me e tutti gli altri
      e si principierà la vita felice.

      Tanti auguri!
