    Chinese Foo dog paid 12$ Can anyone read the tag on the bottom...a date?? I'm not sure if this is ox bone or not...is there a way to tell? Any info appreciated.. Thanks Linda

      Ivory or bone has cross hatching and has shrinkage causing cracks, looks like painted talc or resin. Still worth $12
